Nisey's Original Baked Tilapia

Nisey's Original Baked Tilapia is perfect for a simple and quick dinner or lunch. It goes well for a quick fish taco, or pair it with a salad or steamed veggies. Let's eat!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Tilapia fillets fresh or thawed from frozen
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1/2 tsp salt Kosher
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning Slap Ya Mama
  • olive oil extra virgin

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  • Place the fillet on the sheet spread out at least 1 inch apart. Sprinkler salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning on both sides of each fillet. Squeeze lemon juice on the top and drizzle with olive oil or butter
  • Place in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes. Fish will be flaky when it is done.
  • Serve with quinoa salad, garden salad or steamed veggies with a slice of lemon.

Notes

Thicker fillets may take a little longer to cook.
